Processional Cross
Portugal
1591 <> 1600
The cross, with arm ends shaped as fleur-de-lys (or flower-de-luce), still bears an image of Christ Crucified on one side.
The knot of the cross is an example of an architectural-shaped structure, a miniature replica of and hexagon-temple, with six buttresses, topped by a dome.
