International Museum Day - Museums, Education and Research
"Museums, education and research" is the theme proposed by ICOM for International Museum Day 2024. MASF takes this theme as a starting point to prepare some activities for this celebration, taking place on the 17th and 18th of May. Get to know the program!

“Art to live and express faith”

There are no wrong questions!
We present some artworks with some of the most frequently asked, unusual and curious questions asked by our visitors... and we provide answers!
We also invite our visitors to leave their questions, which we will respond to on our social networks.
The museum will be open to the public from 10am to 5:30pm, with free entry.

"The greatest mystic of the 20th century"
Conference by Cristina Inogés Sanz on the life and spirituality of Thomas Merton, followed by the sale of his book translated into Portuguese and the possibility of autographs.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Maria Cristina Inogés Sanz, was born in Zaragoza (Spain). Theologian from the Protestant Faculty of Madrid (SEUT). Researcher in the Fundamental Theology and Church History departments of that faculty.
Specialist in Institutional Relations and Protocol (UNED) and Graduated as a Social Director (CAI-ASC Foundation).
Member of the Methodological Committee of the Synod of Synodality 2021-2024. In charge of meditation at the opening of the Synod of Bishops in 2021. Member, with voting rights and by direct appointment by Pope Francis, at the Synod Assembly in October 2023 and 2024.
Writer with publications in Editorial PPC, Editorial San Pablo (Spain) and Edições Paulinas (Portugal) where she published the book: The feminine symphony (incomplete) by Thomas Merton, Lisbon 2023.
She regularly publishes articles in the magazines Vida Nueva, Iglesia Viva, Sal Terrae (Spain) and 7 Margens (Portugal).
Speaker at the CONFER General Assembly in 2022.
She participated in the central conferences of the General Chapters of several Institutes of Consecrated Life in different countries. She follows the formation processes in various religious congregations.
