Palm Branch Workshop - Spring Cycle
MASF started the "Spring Cycle" program with the proposal of holding a workshop on March 24th and 25th.
This workshop consisted of making "palmitos", where it was possible for each participant to learn about the process and create their own copy.
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week and recalls Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. The reception was marked by the people with olive branches and palm leaves, symbols that continue to be used in the celebration of this moment, in which the palm leaves receive elaborate decorative effects, popularly known as “palmitos”.
